Haus is an Australian-born contemporary artist, currently practising in Singapore.

Though painting marks a new discipline for him, his 20 year career in design, digital arts and photography, developed in him an eye for composition and a deep love and understanding of colour, which both find prominence in his paintings.

a lover of contemporary, abstract, neo-expressionism and pop art, he draws inspiration from the likes of Tom Wesselmann, Kenny Scharf, warhol, Monika Gil’Sing, basquiat, Arik Brauer, Yayoi Kusama and David Hockney - particularly for their unashamed use of colour and form.

His debut series ‘Life, a Circus’ is an exploration of identity and self expression, through the masks we wear. The series pulsates with the vibrant, expressive energy of a carnival or parade, drawing further inspiration from his personal collection of traditional paper masks from travels through Mexico, South-East Asia, and Japan.
